Welcome! I am Naomi Gibbs a registered physiotherapist since 2003, clinical Pilates instructor since 2004, registered anatomical acupuncturist since 2014 and registered women’s health physiotherapist since 2013.
In my experience working as a physiotherapist, people in pain want to feel heard, understood, supported and given direction about how to move forward and recover. The wonderful news is that the research shows you can give this to yourself! These online programs are designed to support you through finding empathy, care and direction for yourself. Most importantly, it’s about learning to trust your body again and gradually move your body despite your pain. Get excited about taking care of yourself, making yourself important and finding pleasure in movement.
After experiencing complex pain as a teenager, Naomi has made her life long passion about the understanding and treatment of pain. She has extended her physiotherapy knowledge through vast professional development, research and reading.
Pilates is a movement tool to express and re-create patterns found in our body. This facilitates pain relief and the feeling of free movement.
Whether using real time ultrasound imaging, manual therapy or internal pelvic floor examinations, Naomi has been working in women's health and well being since 2003.
